Our expertise in design and manufacture is the result of many years of experience. In the early 1960s Frontier Gate systems and Pitts Security were founded and began to revolutionize the industry. In 1991 these well established and highly respected companies merged and became Frontier Pitts, which continues to meet perimeter security needs throughout the UK and the rest of the World. More than 25% of the production is exported around the World. Our offices in France, Hong Kong and China ensure that Frontier Pitts is at the cutting edge of the European and Asian marketplaces.

From the United Kingdom headquarters in Crawley, Sussex, Frontier-Pitts can provide a complete range of services including design, site surveys, manufacture, installation, civil and electrical services, maintenance, spares, repair or refurbishment and full project management, all backed up by a fully comprehensive customer service programme.

Our products include automatic rising arm barriers, security barriers, traffic barriers, sliding gates, security gates, hinged gates, swing gates, bi-folding speed gates, actuators, automation, road blockers, rising kerbs, hydraulic rising bollards, pedestrian gates and turnstiles, cycle turnstiles and manual equipment. All our products are available with a wide range of control options and operating systems.

Following months of in house design, Frontier Pitts R&D department has produced the high security Anti Terrorist Anti Terra Series. This crash rated equipment has been tested in accordance with the BSI PAS:68 2007 standard, stopping 7500kg travelling at 50mph (80kph). The only complete range includes the Terra Blocker, Terra Shallow Blocker, Terra Mount Blocker, Terra Bollards, and the Terra Gate, which is the only security gate to be impacted in the fully closed and half open positions - The Terra Road Closer, Terra Hinged Gate, Terra Beam and the Terra Barrier (impacted at 40mph). The Terra Blocker, Terra Bollards and Terra Gate remained fully functional after the crash tests.
