Perseus UK (Global Security Technologies) Information

Perseus (Global Security Technologies) Ltd is based in Guildford and has representatives in the USA and the Middle East. Its skill is to use specialised tailored software to analyse its survey data to assess risk and this gives the company the ability to tailor security solutions to safeguard individual locations.

Among the previous projects in which the company's founders have played principal roles were the planning and positioning of counter-terrorist anti-attack vehicle barriers to protect the Houses of Parliament, New Scotland Yard and other important locations in central London. Recent clients include a major financial centre in the New York area, an oil refinery in Illinois and a railway system in the UK. The solutions take account of known criminal and terrorist modus operandii. With their combined experience, the directors can draw on a wide range of security products with which to design the required solutions.

To produce effective security solutions Perseus has developed CyclopsT and PIRAMS. CyclopsT is an innovative and comprehensive software tool developed to manipulate geospatial data generated by Perseus' laser scanning and geo spatial surveys. Normally the data generated by laser scanning is too complex and bulky for the end user to manipulate easily. Perseus is now able to deliver the resultant data in a format required by the end user and
CyclopsT offers functionality with which to manipulate the geospatial data to greatest effect. PIRAMS (Perseus Intelligent Risk Analysis Management System) is a unique methodology which conducts an assessment of the threats
facing a vulnerable site and then develops solutions to mitigate the risk.
