Ash Wednesday for Johnson (senior)
05 May 2010
Someone who clearly needs an Icelandic ash contingency plan (or two) is journalist, Stanley Johnson, who only recently returned to the UK after being stuck in Spain, a victim of the volcanic cloud
Fresh from his repatriation, courtesy of of the Royal Navy, I now hear from Boris Johnson's father that he is grounded in Inverness, after the closure of Scottish air space earlier today.
ContingencyToday.com wonders whether Mr Johnson could thumb a lift in David Cameron's helicopter, last seen buzzing over Scotland in the remining few hours of the general election campaign.
Surely Boris could put in a word?
