Cassidian has released a flexible cryptography solution that will be one of the first in the world to use the UK's new cryptography suite, PRIME. The ECTOCRYP Blue solution can transfer information classified up to TOP SECRET across public networks allowing organisations to minimise the risk of cyber attack. Ectocryp Blue is the only HAIPE-certified cryptographic device in the UK. Another first for the UK is that the high-grade crypto units can be managed and upgraded remotely. CASSIDIAN's groundbreaking ECTOCRYP Cryptographic Devices are to be used in Middle East as CASSIDIAN has an agreement with Emiraje Systems LLC for the provision of ECTOCRYP cryptography products for the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Command and Control System (ECCS). ECCS is a major Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programme, which will federate, integrate, coordinate and maximize the combined efficiency of the UAE Armed Forces assets.
UK first for CASSIDIAN in cyber security training
Cassidian was first to offer UK defence, security and public sector organisations computer network training courses which simulate their own network environment. The aim is to help personnel prevent and detect unwarranted intrusions to their networks. UK Armed Forces personnel have praised the training solution.
