Columbus selects Intergraph

14 January 2010

The city of Columbus, Ohio has selected Intergraph public safety emergency incident response management solutions to streamline police, fire and EMS response in the state's largest and most populous city

Emergency responders will utilize Intergraph's fully integrated computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and mobile dispatch technologies to share multi-agency information in order to better serve the capital city's more than 700,000 residents. The solutions will enable the City of Columbus Department of Public Safety Communications Center, as well as the Columbus Division of Police and Division of Fire and EMS personnel, to share a common operational picture; make faster, more strategic decisions; and distribute information when responding to incidents in the 212-square-mile jurisdiction.
