The conference, which is scheduled to be held in London from 17-18 June, 2010, aims to help governments, senior policy makers, private sector and other ICT stakeholders in Commonwealth countries to understand the key issues involved in Cyber security, build their capacity in this domain and establish relationships with partners to face increasing Cyber threats.
Speaking on the support received from the EESC, Mr. Bashir Patel, Director of CTO, said: "Cyber attacks are a global pandemic and no system is immune to its vicious targets. Large-scale cyber-attacks cause disruptions resulting in enormous damage both to individuals and to Governments."
