The US Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) has awarded ten $200,000 DNI Fellows grants to scientists
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) has awarded ten $200,000 DNI Fellows grants to scientists in the intelligence community. Recipients included: Carey Buxton, an electronics engineer at the FBI and an expert in the development of antennas for communication systems; Daniel Cress, a CIA program manager who works with active and passive airborne sensing and ground-based seismic, acoustic and low-frequency electromagnetic sensing; John Egan, a chief scientist in the Advanced Systems and Technology Directorate at the National Reconnaissance Office; Steven Gotoff of the Defense Intelligence Agency; Stephen Malys, a senior scientist for geodesy and geophysics for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency; Catherine Marsh, a senior scientist in the CIA's Power Sources Center, Advanced Technologies and Programs, Directorate of Science and Technology;Timothy Persons, technical director and chief scientist for the Disruptive Technology Office at the National Security Agency; and Kirsten Whitley, a senior researcher working on cognitive analysis and visualization at the National Security Agency.
