Exercise to test London's emergency services
22 February 2012
A major exercise took place today in London to test the emergency services' response to a terrorist attack on a London Underground station.
Codenamed Forward Defensive, emergency services used the disused Aldwych station to deal with 'casualties' in the mock terror attack, as if it were August 8 and 9, the days which are expected to be two of the busiest days in London during the Olympics.
