Fairfax County selects Intergraph emergency incident response

Fairfax County, Virginia, USA, the most populous jurisdiction in both Virginia and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with more than one million residents, has selected Intergraph's emergency incident response, planning and reporting solutions as part of their program to upgrade and update legacy public safety systems

The technologies will be used to facilitate effective and efficient multi-agency response and will advance enterprise level interoperability within the U.S. capital region.

In addition to protecting more than 500 million people worldwide, Intergraph already provides public safety and security solutions for nearly 20 public safety and security agencies in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.  These agencies include the Washington, D.C. Unified Communications Center, Naval District Washington, Frederick County, Md., Howard County, Md., Fort Detrick, Md., Fort Meade, Md. and Bolling Air Force Base.

The following Fairfax County agencies will leverage Intergraph's computer aided dispatch, fire and police records management, field reporting and mobile solutions:
.Department of 9-1-1 Public Safety Communications

  • Fire and Rescue Department
  • Office of Emergency Management
  • Police Department
  • Sheriff's Office
