Fire & Rescue, the UK's official exhibition and conference for the fire and rescue industry, will offer visitors an expansive and free-of-charge educational programme within three dedicated seminar theatres. Focusing on the key issues facing fire and rescue professionals today, this promises to be an unmissable event for anyone in this industry.
The conference and exhibition takes place at the Harrogate International Centre from 29 – 30 June 2010. Hosted in partnership with the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA), the Fire Protection Association (FPA) and the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), the free seminars will be split into three strands: the FIRESA Pavilion focusing on the latest developments in fire and rescue equipment and technology including new generation battery hydraulics, water mist suppression for compartment fires, powder based class A foam for wildland fires and compact vehicles; the Best Practice Area featuring presentations from exhibiting UK fire and rescue services on successful recent initiatives; and the Fire & Rescue Learning Zone focusing on operational performance, false alarm reduction for HMOs, revised learning and development strategies, operational safety and the route to qualified incident commander.
