Infoterra Ltd, a leader in the provision of geospatial products and services, has launched its GeoStore Explore service to enable professional risk assessment based on location specific imagery and maps
For underwriters and loss adjusters, GeoStore® provides a browser-based decision-support application enabling annotation and measurement of features on a map or aerial photograph.
Using the GeoStore Explore service, underwriters and loss adjusters can easily identify and highlight the position of trees that could represent a subsidence risk, measure the footprint of a building within a property boundary, or study the road junction layout at the site of an accident. They can also then integrate these results in a full colour image or as a map complete with their annotations into their reports or as part of more detailed instructions for a site investigation.
GeoStore Explore is one of a range of Advanced Professional Services delivered through GeoStore, that provide access to Ordnance Survey large scale mapping and high resolution imagery on a 'pay-as-you-use' basis for registered users.
