Infosecurity moves to Earls Court

08 May 2008

After 13 successful years of hosting Infosecurity Europe at Olympia and following the success of this year's show, which saw a 4% increase in visitor numbers to 12,500 (pre ABC audit), Infosecurity Europe is moving to the much larger venue of Earls Court in 2009

This year's Infosecurity Europe showed that one area of IT budgets that is not going to be cut with any imminent downturn is information security, with a huge number of organisations flocking to the show to arm themselves with the latest technology.  This view of the market is supported by analyst reports out this week which predict that the information security market will continue to grow till at least 2012 in spite of any economic downturn.

The 2008 exhibitors had already booked up 75 % of the space for next year's event at Earls Court by the end of the second day – showing that there is great support for the move to Earls court from the Industry.  Infosecurity Europe 2009, Earls Court, London on 28th – 30th April 2009, www.infosec.co.uk
