Infoterra concludes first phase of Next Perspectives
Infoterra, a provider of geospatial products and services, has successfully concluded the first phase of the Pan Government Agreement (PGA 2a) in its role as prime contractor for the Next Perspectives consortium
The PGA 2a contract, managed by the Communities and Local Government (CLG), provides national government bodies with access to high quality aerial photography and height data - at a fraction of the cost of individual supply.
In the first 3 months, 400+ individual orders have been delivered - over 2 million sq km of data. By mixing traditional DVD/CD with online and hard drive deliveries, customers have been able to effectively access large volumes of data.
Andy Wells, Government Service Director of Infoterra Ltd stated: "We are very pleased with the success to date which is not only attributable to the product quality and price but also the team's flexibility to support users. Our dedicated account managers have met with current users to discuss a broad spectrum of geospatial topics, not just data supply."
