Iron Mountain appoints Simon Duddy as UK commercial ditrector
Iron Mountain, the information management company, has appointed Simon Duddy as Commercial Director for the UK Public Sector and Healthcare
In his new role, Duddy will assume responsibility for growing Iron Mountain's customer base within these sectors and find bespoke solutions to meet their evolving information management needs. This includes helping government and National Health Service (NHS) customers to successfully integrate physical and digital information, leveraging additional value from their data resources whilst increasingly focusing on information risk management, data security and compliance.
He will lead a highly specialised and experienced team as well as develop channel partnerships. Duddy will also be charged with extending Iron Mountain's already healthy customer base in the public sector, which includes the National Health Service, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Probate Service.
"Simon brings with him a great understanding of the public sector and the specific needs of customers," said Peter Eglinton, senior vice-president, UK, Ireland and Norway operations, Iron Mountain. "He will be using his experience in handling information in the supply chain and taking the same approach in understanding our customers."
