Israeli cammandos armed with 'paintball rifles'
01 June 2010
UK-based organisation, Bicom, claims Israeli commandos, who stormed the Gaza-bound supply flotilla, were armed with paintball rifles (in addition to hand guns)
Bicom quotes Israeli journalist, Ron Ben Yishai, who was an eyewitness," ....they were only equipped with paintball rifles used to disperse minor protests, .... The paintballs obviously made no impression on the activists, who kept on beating the troops up and even attempted to wrest away their weapons." Once the violence got out of control, the commandos requested, and were authorised, to fire in self defence, Ben Yashi said.
