Portsmouth University enhances security

10 February 2010

The University of Portsmouth is providing a safer and more secure learning environment for its students as a result of installing Initsys Merlin ARC software

The alarm receiving room software solution has enabled the university to integrate cost-effectively new and existing intruder and fire alarms with CCTV cameras and DVRs installed at two campuses across the city. It is enabling control room operators to deliver a faster, more efficient response to all alarm activations, as well as helping to achieve significant cost savings.
