Steve Lea new Sungard finance director.
SunGard Availability Services has appointed Steve Lea as UK finance and administration director Mr. Lea will be responsible for providing the financial expertise to drive SunGard's position in the information availability industry
He will also oversee SunGard's ongoing investment in its staff and facilities, including its nationwide portfolio of almost 20 Workplace Recovery Centres.
Mr. Lea is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and began his accountancy career with Bristol Meyers Squibb followed by various finance director roles with leading US based technology companies including Silicon Graphics and Sun Microsystems.
Prior to joining SunGard, Mr. Lea spent 10 years at RealNetworks Inc, most recently as general manager of finance and operations for Europe. Mr. Lea will report to SunGard Availability Services' UK managing director and senior vice president Europe, Keith Tilley.
