Sungard deploys 7,400 new PCs
24 May 2010
SunGard Availability Services has recently completed its fourth desktop technology refresh in ten years, deploying 7,400 new PCs across its UK Recovery Centres
The PC refresh will help SunGard decrease its desktop energy consumption by up to 45 per cent at idle, as the power supplies on the new machines are more power efficient than standard industry units. This reinforces the industrial-strength infrastructure on which SunGard can offer new services and support the latest technologies.
