US cyber security head resigns

Rod Beckstrom, the head of the Homeland Security Department's National Cybersecurity Center, has tendered his resignation, according to the DorobekInsider blog at Federal News R
In the March 5 letter, posted on the blog, Beckstrom notes that the center, which is responsible for coordinating cybersecurity efforts across the government, "did not receive appropriate support inside DHS during the last administration to fully realize" its role
