Using this Site indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this Site.

The following words and expressions shall have the following meanings unless the context otherwise requires:

"Commercial Gain"includes, without limitation: using the Site as part of advertising which may result in revenue generation or personal gain, selling goods to a third party and copying, reproducing, distributing, publishing, transferring, licensing, selling, commercially exploiting or duplicating any element of this Site whatsoever;
"the Company"means Contingency Today Limited a company registered in England and Wales with registration number 4324955 whose registered office is at Welbeck House, Spitfire Close, Ermine Business Park, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 6XY, United Kingdom;
"Site"www.contingencytoday.com
"Subscriptions"means those subscriptions available for purchase via the Site.

2. Introduction

2.1 You may access most areas of this Site without registering your details with us. Certain areas of the Site are only open to you if you register.

2.2 By accessing any part of this Site, you shall be deemed to have accepted this legal notice in full. If you do not accept this legal notice in full, you must leave this Site immediately.

2.3 The Company may revise this legal notice at any time by updating this posting. You should check this Site from time to time to review the then current legal notice, because it is binding on you. Certain provisions of this legal notice may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this Site.

3. Consumer information

In the event you order a Subscription from the Site then you need to be aware of the following information:

3.1 all Subscriptions are supplied by the Company;

3.2 descriptions and prices of the Subscriptions are available on the Site and viewing such information does not place any obligation whatsoever on you to place an order with the Company;

3.3 payment for the Subscriptions is made either via the Site or via telephone using one of the following methods of payment: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro or Solo;

3.4 typically, the Company will commence Subscriptions with the first available issue, one week following the date of the Company's acceptance of an order. Access to the online Subscription will be available within one week of the Company's acceptance of an order;

3.5 please note that the right to cancel any orders under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply to the sale of periodicals;

3.6 you may cancel the contract in the event that the Company is in breach of any of its express or implied obligations under the contract;

3.7 unless otherwise specified, the materials on this website are directed solely at those who access this Site from the United Kingdom. The Company makes no representation that any products or services referred to in the materials on this website are appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable; and

3.8 in the event that the Company is unable to supply the Subscriptions for any reason, the Company shall notify you as soon as possible and offer you the option to order alternative Subscriptions. In the event that the Company is unable to contact you then the contract shall be deemed cancelled within 7 days following the Company's notification to you. On cancellation of the contract in accordance with this clause 3.8 any money already paid to the Company shall be refunded.

4. Licence

4.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Site for your own use on the following basis:

4.1.1 no documents or related graphics on this Site are modified in any way;

4.1.2 no graphics on this Site are used separately from accompanying text; and

4.1.3 the Company's copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.

4.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Site (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by the Company or its licensors. For the purposes of this legal notice, any use of extracts from this Site other than in accordance with clause 4.1 above for any purpose is prohibited. If you breach any of the terms in this legal notice, your permission to use this Site automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from this Site.

4.3 Subject to clause 4.1, no part of this Site may be reproduced or stored in any other Site or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without the Company's prior written permission.

5. Service access

5.1 While the Company endeavours to ensure that this Site is normally available 24 hours a day, the Company shall not be liable if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

5.2 Access to this Site may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the Company's control.
