14 - 15 April

National Hall, Olympia Exhibition Centre

Counter Terror Expo 2010

Counter Terror Expo has firmly established itself as a premier event according to speakers, exhibitors and delegates who have flocked to London's QE11 Centre in the heart of Westminster. The two-day event, which closed yesterday, broke expected attendance figures by a factor of 50%. In excess of 4'000 governmental, military, law enforcement and business professionals from the UK and Overseas took part in the conference and specialist workshops as well as visiting the extensive exhibition. "With the scourge of international terrorism remaining a high priority issue, this event provided a forum in which to debate the threats, develop new concepts and foster strong relationships amongst counter terrorism professionals at the sharp end in delivering strategies to neutralize the capabilities of those who wish to do us harm," comments Managing Director, Peter Jones. "We are delighted that the feedback from those attending has been overwhelmingly positive and shows clearly that Counter Terror Expo has raised the bar significantly for this type of event." Intelligence gathering, policing, critical infrastructure protection and business continuity were the principal headline themes during the course of the event. Workshops on CBRNE Detection & Screening, CCTV & Surveillance, Perimeter Security & Intrusion Detection, Human Factors & Training and Information & Communication Systems were the knowledge centres. The exhibition space showcased the latest in technology and other hardware from over 130 of the world's leading suppliers. "Such has been the success of Counter Terror Expo that already we are receiving a high volume of advance exhibitor bookings for next year. Consequently, we have taken the decision to move the event to the much larger National Hall at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in 2010."
