In todays business environment, preparation for the future requires that the horizon be continually scanned. Threats may be obvious or can be hidden, and the alert organisation is always looking to the future, to prepare and to create competitive advantage. The CIR Risk Horizons Summit takes three general themes of threat and explores their meaning with the help of expert industry commentators. Drawing on the latest research, and practitioners who have direct responsibility for these issues, the summit considers the environment, political threats and information assurance, an issue made more topical by the recent spate of data leaks.
